John’s passion for music started at a young age and has sustained its momentum over the years, even after taking a backseat to raising four amazing children. After countless open mics, karaoke nights and endless hours of practice, John booked his first gig.  

Since then, John has been told that viewers can see and feel his passion for music when he performs and has a way of letting others feel it too.

John puts a lot of time and energy into finding songs from various genres, decades and performers, and then developing them into his own style of acoustic guitar renditions. John has been told by many that he has a knack for song choice. Seasoned musicians have said they started playing a

certain song after listening to him perform.  Imitation is the highest form of flattery,  and John is beyond flattered by the support of the accomplished musicians who have mentored him

John is inspired by all types of music. His musical focus includes classic rock, alternative, hard rock, country, metal,80’s, 90’s and some of today’s favorites. Versatility is key, so John is able to perform shows for a variety of audiences. His music can range from lo-keyed background music to hard rock high-energy favorites to classic crowd sing-a-longs. John feels it is important to read the crowd and to try and play accordingly to best entertain them. After all, the crowd is why he is there!
